How to book a trial class before enrolling

Updated: Sep 16

This is a question we are asked very often. To make things easier for everyone, here is a clear explanation of how it works.

Why a trial class?

We recommend that everyone takes a trial class before final registration, especially if:

  • you are new to the school,

  • you don’t yet know the teacher,

  • or the timetable or discipline has changed.

Only those who already know the class and the teacher well may register directly. This helps avoid registrations followed by refund requests, which create unnecessary costs and extra work for both sides.

How does it work?

  1. Click on the registration button/link (the same as for a regular subscription).

  2. You will be redirected to our booking system, Dance Studio Manager.

  3. Create your profile (for yourself or for your child).

  4. Contact us to let us know which class you would like to try.

  5. We will manually add you to one occurrence of the chosen class as a free trial class.

A few important details

  • In some rare cases (for example, for adults registering very late), the trial may be charged.

  • If you decide to enroll afterwards, the amount paid will automatically be deducted from your subscription (prorated).

  • The aim is not to make things complicated, but to ensure a clear and fair framework for everyone.

We also want to avoid “free trial tourists,” people who go from one school to another taking multiple free sessions without real intention of enrolling. This disrupts the progress of the classes, since the teacher is forced to restart instead of advancing with the group.

In summary

  • A free trial class is available to discover our courses in the right conditions.

  • Prior registration in the system is mandatory so that your name appears on the teacher’s digital attendance sheet.

  • Clarity and fairness: everyone saves time and benefits from smooth organization.

We look forward to welcoming you and making your experience at Rythme and Soul enjoyable, well-organized, and motivating from the very first class.Hello everyone, the question we receive almost every day by e-mail is almost always this: can we do a trial lesson before registering?

Thank you for your time

Best regards
